What does getting a porcelain crown involve?

A porcelain crown consists of two visits. The first visit under local anesthesia is the preparation of the tooth for a temporary crown, in this same visit a mold or accurate impression of the tooth is taken in order to make an exact fitted porcelain crown.

The second entails removing the temporary crown that was placed in the first visit, the tooth is cleaned thoroughly, and the permanent crown is cemented permanently.
